Our Mission
Longevity Biz exists to track how better medicine becomes longer, healthier life —
and how that turns into real business.
About
Longevity Biz was launched by Skye Lininger and Rick Polito to track how better medicine becomes
longer, healthier life — and how that turns into real businesses.
Lininger and Polito bring a combined half-century of perspective in wellness, nutrition, media, and health markets.
Lininger founded Healthnotes and built multiple media and software properties in the wellness space, including tools to track products and ingredients across the supplement market; and has written or contributed to a dozen books.
Polito is an award-winning journalist and former editor-in-chief of Nutrition Business Journal, where he helped define the dietary supplement market and chronicled its opportunities, challenges, and credibility problems.
Together, they have watched longevity emerge as one of the fastest-growing categories in wellness. But Longevity Biz looks beyond nutrition, lifestyle, and anti-aging claims to follow a broader shift: advances in medicine, diagnostics, therapeutics, AI, technology, delivery channels, public health, and capital are beginning to reshape how healthspan gains become products, services, clinics, reimbursement models, and markets.
Our thesis is simple: Longevity is the side effect of better medicine.
Longevity Biz exists to provide a continually updated business view of the emerging longevity economy: explaining the opportunities, diagramming the challenges, separating signal from hype, and helping entrepreneurs, investors, clinicians, operators, and strategists understand where healthspan becomes a real business.
